The sausage chilli con carne makes 4 servings use 1 serving for the nachos.
Ingredients:
For the Chilli:
- 4 TGK Original sausages
- 1 Tin of Kidney Beans
- 1 Tin of Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 Garlic Cloves, diced
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 2 Tbsp Tomato Puree
For the Nachos:
- 50g Nachos
- 200g Chilli
- 30g Chilli Cheese
- 1 Tbsp Smashed Avocado
- 1 Tbsp Salsa
Method:
- Remove the meat from 4 TGK Original sausages.
- Heat a pan over medium heat with a little oil. Add the diced onion and garlic, and fry until softened.
- Add the sausage meat to the pan and cook until browned.
- Stir in 2 tbsp tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add 1 tin of kidney beans, 1 tin of crushed tomatoes, 1 tsp paprika, and 1 tsp cumin. Mix well.
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes until the chilli thickens.
- Spread the nachos on a plate or dish and spoon over 200g of the sausage chilli.
- Top with the chilli cheese, smashed avocado, and tbsp salsa. Sprinkle with chilli flakes, coriander or any other toppings you love.
